Description: Sisters of Providence Health is employing RN right now, this position will be placed in Massachusetts. The Registered Nurse, under the direction of the Nurse or department Manager and CNM, is responsible for the development and implementation of direct patient care under the provisions of the Mass. State Practice Act. The! Registered Nurse utilizes the nursing process and collaborates with the other health care disciplines to deliver holistic patient care to patients of all ages. The Registered Nurse assesses and delegates appropriate assignments to unlicensed personnel.
Requirements include current RN MA licensure. CPR certification required. Labor and delivery and or OB/GYN experience preferred. Credentialed in area of practice preferred.
Utilizes the nursing process and or specialized nursing skills to achieve stated and agreed upon patient outcomes in the delivery of holistic patient care. Provides leadership by working cooperatively with ancillary and other health professionals in maintaining the standards for professional nursing practice. Provides direct patient care to any Prenatal Center contracting agency and Mercy, SPHS OB/GYN patients. Must possess positive attitude, flexibility and strong communication/interpersonal skills.
