The HealthCare Initiative Where Talent Meets Opportunity Emergency Room Nursing Manager-Busy ED 500 bed not for profit medical center located downtown Bos! ton. With more than 100,000 emergency visits and more than 2,000 trauma admissions per year they have top rankings in outcome scores state wide. More than 60% of ED patients are admitted. There is an ED expansion project that is at the ground floor level.Reports to Service Line Director who is needing a front line leader who is strong, yet supportive of staff and someone who can foster a new team and continued excellence in the department. The members of the team include a core of seven full-time, board-certified trauma and critical care attending surgeons and 34 board-certified emergency medicine physicians.REQUIREMENTS: Bachelors Degree in Nursing or Bachelors Degree in Healthcare Administration preferred. Licensed as a professional nurse in the State of Mass. State preferred. National Certification preferred, CEN Excellent planning, process improvement and communication skills. Minimum of Five (5) years of healthcare management experience required Minimum of five years w! orking experience in the ED area preferred.
