This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Nurse Leader to join our leadership team to manage our P! ediatric Inpatient & ED and Special Care Nursery units. The Pediatric Unit is a 16-bed Medical/Surgical unit, the Pediatric ED is a 7 bed unit and the Special Care unit is a 10 bed unit with specialty to include a variety of medical diagnosis. The multi specialty, patient centered model will focus on integrated expertise and operational excellence. The Nurse Manager promotes competent, compassionate nursing care for patients / families. In collaboration with the Physicians and the nursing staff, the Nurse Manager influences outcomes and ensures the BEST quality patient care.

This role is a leadership role encompassing patient care, teaching, and consultation. The successful candidate for this position will dem! onstrate the following attributes:

Minimum educational level: Masters degree in Nursing with a focus on obstetrics/neonatology- Certifications: BLS, NRP, PALS-! Minimum experience: 3+ years of clinical practice in Maternal Child Health
- Preferred experience: 2+ years in an educator/CNS role, and/or 1+ years in a management role.- Familiarity with work in a union environment is helpful
