HR Generalist

The Dimock Center's Health Care programs deliver comprehensive health maintenance, screening, immunizations, and prevention for adults and children with specialized clinics, including Women’s He! alth and OB/GYN, HIV/AIDs, eye care, and dental care. Our Child and Family Development programs offer academic support and computer training, as well as a safe environment for children and adolescents. Our Behavioral Health program assists those struggling with mental illness, developmental delay, substance abuse or violence issues.
Dimock is seeking an HR Generalist with a sense of enthusiasm for learning in a team centered HR Department serving approximately 500 regular and per diem employees. Duties would include processing new hires, volunteers/interns, entering information into our HRIS system, employee relations, documentation tracking and reporting, background checks and a variety of other HR related functions.
A bachelor’s degree and preferably two years general HR experience would serve as a basis for expanded responsibilities. Must be detail oriented. A cheerful disposition and ability to interface with employees at all levels is required.
Re! quirements:
Strong computer (HRIS, Excel, etc) and ana! lytical skills
Effective oral and written communication skills
Willing to learn all aspects of our busy HR department
Some proficiency in Spanish preferred
