We are currently scheduling interviews for a western Massachusetts Ob/Gyn practice, currently seeking a full time physicia! n who will fill a dual role as Clinical Director for the practice as well as provide medical care to patients in the office and Birthing Center.
- Must be Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology
- The Practice will consist of five physicians
- The medical office is in close proximity to the hospital
- The call schedule is typically one week night per week (Monday through Thursday) and 1 weekend in 8.
- The management component of this position involves leadership for the providers (physicians and midwives).
- Salary is on a guaranteed basis for at least the first two years of the employment relationship.
- Benefits include 4 weeks of vacation and 80 hours of holiday time each year; CME time off with pay plus a $1,500 allowance; retirement program and more.Directorship Roles:
- Implementation of policies, procedures and protocols in the birthing unit
- Assess the current staffing model between the m! idwifery and Ob-Gyn offices, and recommend an appropriate mode! l to move the practices into the future.
- Development of the call schedule for providers that is equitable will also be a responsibility for the Clinical Director.
- Participate in strategic planning relative to identifying opportunities for new programs and services, and marketing of same. The region is rich in culture and quality of life opportunities for both young professionals and established physicians with a family. The practice is located in the foothills of the Berkshires in Western Massachusetts. Outstanding private schools at all levels (elementary, secondary, college) and excellent private and public colleges are available in close proximity to the Medical Center. The cost of living in Western Massachusetts is significantly less than eastern Massachusetts.
