NOTE: This is a remote position with priority given to candidates working/residing in Texas.

POSITION SUMMARY: Reporting to Chief Financial Officer this position is the primary point of contact for daily treasury operations within NuScale Power, including cash management, debt and equity capital management, and compliance with policies and procedures.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manages the treasury operations involving cash funds, foreign exchange, debt and capital management
  • Provides management with short- and long-term financial objectives and policies.
  • Performs treasury operations involving cash funds, foreign exchange, debt and capital management
  • Provides analytical and technical support to treasury-related activities
  • Administer fixed assets and associated reporting
  • Coordinate with various departments and forecast cash flow of the company, short term and longer term, and provide information on placement of money.
  • Document all bank transactions and maintain track of all activities of bank account data.
  • Supervise third party collection activities and compile all reports for corporate collection.
  • Leads the treasury in line with existing treasury procedures.
  • Perform administrative functions such as reviewing and writing reports, approving expenditures, enforcing rules, and making decisions about the purchase of materials or services.
  • Ensures that adequate, qualified resources are assigned and roles and responsibilities are clearly defined.
  • Identifies, mentors, and develops organizational talent.
  • Develop team members’ capabilities in support of individual career goals and team objectives
  • Ensure income and congregation accounts tally with each other as per established accounting procedures.
  • Administer efficient operation of treasury and ensure strict compliance with national financial policies.
  • Plan and evaluate treasury’s financial operation.
  • Participate in various Finance committees as member and provide assistance to prepare budgets.
  • Review daily or weekly cash flows and prepare annual financial report to submit to senior management.
  • Oversee corporate debt facilities and ensure adherence to established treasury rules and prepare reports of all such activities.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM SKILLS, QUALIFICATIONS AND ABILITIES
:

  • Education: A minimum of a B.S. degree in Finance or Accounting is required. MBA with emphasis in Finance preferred.
  • Experience: A minimum of 10 years of directly relevant, full-time working experience in corporate treasury or other higher finance function role is required. Must have public market experience, preferably with an institutionally held company with greater than $1B market cap and listed on a major US exchange. Prior leadership experience in developing and managing a team is required. Experience in energy or utility is preferred.
  • Industry Requirements: Eligible to work under Department of Energy 10 CFR Part 810.

Pay and Benefits:

The target pay range for this position is $157,301 - $173,859 annually. The full pay range is $129,152 - $202,008.

At NuScale, compensation decisions are determined using factors such as relevant job-related skills, full-time working experience, education and training, equity within the department.
