Our hospital client is looking for a Certified Surgical Tech this summer for 13 weeks! Start ASAP!
Qualified candidates are required to have a high school diploma or GED and a Surgical Tech Certification. Also, our client requires current experience in scrub duties for cesarean section and other OB related operative procedures. This position requires assisting the OB team in deliveries. It will be required that our potential candidate have the ability to read, write and speak English, but being bilingual is a plus. Our client prefers the potential candidate have a BLS, be someone who is familiar with sterile technique and procedures, has previous experience in Labor and Delivery setting, has previous experience with moms and babies, and would prefer a candidate with certification as a nursing assistant or a PCA. This position will entail maintaining surgical supplies and needs as well as having the ability to float to Mother/Baby and other units of the hospital as needed. The available shift for this position is from 7:00am-3:00pm and 3:00pm-11:00pm, day and evening shifts.
