Melrose-Wakefield Hospital Opportunity for a physician to join our hospitalist group as a full-time nocturnist at Melrose-Wakefield Hospital in Melrose, Massachusetts. This position works from 7pm to 7am. Qualified candidates will be board certified or eligible in internal or family medicine and will have hospitalist experience. Candidates must be able to handle procedures with open ICU. This 174-bed, acute care facility offers services that iinclude cardiac catheterization, diagnostic screening, comprehensive cancer diagnosis treatment, and OB/GYN. Located approximately seven miles north of Boston, Melrose offers residents a desireable compromise between the crowded metropolis of Boston and the frontier of rural exurbia. Melrose is predominantly residential with exquisite Victorian homes dating from the late 1800s, but beyond being a city of homes, Melrose has a long-standing tradition of being self-sufficient in supporting residents' housing, education, employment, health, shopping, entertainment, recreation and leisure needs.
