Exciting opportunity for the experienced Medical Assistant to join our busy OB/GYN practice at our Copley location.
This is a 4! 0 hour opportunity with hours between 7:30 a.m â€" 6:00 p.m. Must be available to work a flexible schedule for coverage required.
Under the direction of the supervisor or designee the Medical Assistant I delivers excellent service to patients and internal customers through participation in a medical care team. Provides clinical and clerical support to the practice. Demonstrates a high level of competence in all support roles.
This position supports 8 clinicians (MDs, CNMs & NP) , with 12,000 patient visits annually. This is a very busy and popular practice with a very diverse clientele at a desirable location.
Education: Associate Degree / Certificate in Medical Assisting.
Requirements: Minimum of one year recent experience working in a medical environment. Direct OB/GYN ambulatory care experience a plus. The ability to effectively participate as a team member is required. Strong interpersonal , customer service, time ma! nagement skills are essential. Computer skill required. EMR ex! perience preferred.
Candidate must have excellent questioning, listening and writing skills to clearly communicate the patient’s need to the clinical team. Able to outreach efficiently to patients referred to the department, project a welcoming and professional demeanor at all times whether on the phone or in person, even under stressful circumstances.
