The Position:
Applications are currently being accepted for Executive Administrative Assistant for the Vice Chancellor of Facilities Management, located at District Office. Hours are 8:00 A.M. - 5:00 P.M, Monday - Friday. The selected candidate must be willing to adjust work days/hours based on the department's needs.

Please note that an employee may be transferred to any site at the option of the Chancellor.

  • Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills with the ability to build and manage relationships with staff and senior executives
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Experience using Microsoft Teams and Microsoft Office, with skills in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to effectively communicate, both verbally and in writing, with demonstrated proficiency in grammar, editing and proofreading.
  • Possess a strong work ethic and be a self-starter
  • Detail-oriented and able to perform multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and discretion
  • Strong calendar scheduling/management skills
  • Supervise, train and provide work direction to assigned staff

Pay Information:
Range 7 ($4,726.38- $7,890.88) per month based on the current Supervisory and Professional Employees Association - Salary Schedule A

Initial salary placement is commensurate with related experience and promotional rules. The District offers a comprehensive fringe benefit package including employer paid: medical, dental, and vision plans; sick and vacation leave; and opportunities for professional development. Initial Salary Placement, Promoted or transferred employees will be placed as specified in the SPAA - Supervisory & Professional Administrators Association Handbook. This position is FLSA Exempt and may not accrue overtime. A temporary probationary period will be applied to the employee entering this assignment.
