Baystate Medical Center is the Western Campus of Tufts University School of Medicine, has the only Level 1 Trauma Center in the region and the only neonatal and pediatric intensive care units.
Performs general regulatory duties including preparing and submitting regulatory documents to the IRB, sponsored program administration (SPA), sponsors, contract research organizations (CRO's), and regulatory agencies, etc. Creates and maintains organized and complete regulatory files. Responsible for tracking and maintaining electronic regulatory database. Develops informed consents in collaboration with study coordinators. Assists in the shipping of laboratory specimens. Performs a variety of other duties such as maintaining refrigerator and freezer ! logs, inventory and ordering study and office supplies, and ot! her general clerical tasks. May assists in tracking study-related financial records. Participates and prepares for sponsor or FDA audits. Collaborates well with others.
Qualifications BS/BA preferred. Knowledge and skills necessary for this level are typically attained through 2-4 years of clinical research experience. Candidate is expected to role model Baystate Health Operating principles. Have a solid understanding of data collection and research principles. Highly detail-oriented individual with excellent interpersonal, organizational, and time management skills. Strong computer skills including database and web-based applications and proficiency in MS Word and Excel. Strong knowledge of IRB requirements and Federal and State regulations as they relate to research. Holds specialty certification in clinical research through an approved accrediting organization or college/graduate program.

Part-time - 20 hours per week- Mond! ay - Friday 8:00 am - 5:00 pm flexible
