Provides a variety of care for assigned patients directed by the licensed medical provider according to established regulatory guidelines, practice standards, philosophy, objectives, policies and procedures. Supports office by providing clerical and administrative assistance. High school diploma or equivalent required. Graduate of an accredited Medical Assisting Program required. Current CMA certification by the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) highly desirable. Must be able to use office equipment and handle multi-task situations with professionalism. One (1) year medical assistant experience is preferred. Manual dexterity sufficient to safely effect venipuncture, and safely handle specimen containers and use appropriate equipment to take vital signs and operate office and medical equipment necessary to complete responsibilities outlined above. Supports OB/GYN and Plastic Su! rgery departments. Easton location.
