In collaboration with Medical Director(s)/Chief, the Sr. Director, Nurse Manager, Operation Supervisors, and other department personnel, plays a key ! leadership role at multiple OB/GYN Health Center sites (Cambridge Womens Health Center, and Somerville Womens Health Center, 1st floor of the Cambridge Birth Center). Accountable for site day-to-day operations, financial performance, service quality, personnel management, and staff/patient satisfaction at SWHC, WHC, 1st flr BC. Works collaboratively with the Chief/OB/GYN, Senior Director, Nurse Manager & site Medical Director(s), to ensure the highest level of clinical care. Supervises non-clinical staff, including three (3) Operation Supervisors at these sites. May also provide consultative support to the OBGYN practices in East Cambridge and Revere. Provides support to the staff in the provision of the highest quality patient care delivered in a compassionate, culturally sensitive, efficient, cost effective manner. Responsible to assess and respond to the needs of the community. Leads and encourages innovation and initiates and leads quality improvement projects. Accounta! ble for development of operating and capital budget and financ! ial performance goals, and maintenance of attractive and efficient facilities.
Masters degree preferred; Recent progressive experience in healthcare management, with practice management/operations experience. Background in healthcare program planning a plus. Five to seven years of recent, progressive management experience in a complex health care setting. Demonstrated ability to lead change and work collaboratively in a matrix environment, with others at all levels of the organization. Effectively coach/mentor staff. Demonstrated financial/budgetary skills & knowledge of billing process flow; excellent communications skills. Demonstrated commitment to the principles of improving the patient experience of care & to the organizational mission and values.
