This position is responsible for accurate assessment of clinical conditions both acute and chronic by means of detailed histories, physical exam, and interpretation of laboratory data, diagnosis and appropriate treatment planning. Additionally you will commu! nication and collaboration with the supervising physician rega! rding medical issues of their caseload and managing referrals to other members of the multidisciplinary team of professionals.

Other duties include:

• Order and coordinate appropriate diagnostic tests and procedures to effectively diagnose and treat health conditions
• Counsels patients on preventative care, medical problems and use of prescribed treatment
• Established treatment plans and insures the continuity of care for patients requiring ongoing health care services
• Complies with all rules, directives as well as, policies and procedures of MHM Services and the MADOC

• ANCC or ANA certification as an Adult or Family Nurse Practitioner

or

• NCCPA certification as a Physician Assistant
• Active unrestricted Massachusetts licensure
• Prior experience with Women’s Health Services and/or Ob/Gyn Services highly desired
• Ability and willingness to successfully pass a background investigation
