Baystate Health is seeking an outstanding obstetrician/gynecologist to join our growing practice, ! Pioneer Women’s Health, in Greenfield Massachusetts. Pioneer Women’s Health is a part of Baystate Medical Practices, the employed physician group of Baystate Health. The practice currently consists of 3 physicians, 5 CNMs and a strong support team. Located across the street from our 93-bed hospital, Baystate Franklin Medical Center, this practice enjoys an excellent relationship with our award-winning ob unit. We cover approximately 500 births annually and BFMC was recently honored for having the lowest c section rate in Massachusetts. Our providers enjoy a very busy surgical practice and see major surgical cases every week. Baystate Franklin Medical Center’s reputation for its friendly environment and commitment to community medicine draws top-notch physicians to our area. Our affiliation with Baystate Medical Center, our 650-bed Level 1 trauma center and tertiary care hospital in Springfield, MA, allows us a collaborative relationship with consultation services from! MFM, Gyn/Onc and infertility providers. Baystate Medical Cent! er is the western campus of Tufts University School of Medicine and this position offers opportunities to teach BMC residents and Tufts medical students.
Candidates must be ABMS BE/BC in ob/gyn and have excellent organizational, communication and team skills. Interest in being a part of a community hospital team is important. Full time and part time opportunities are available and full time providers work 4 days a week. Call will be 1:4 and physicians are second call to the CNMs.
