Hudson has partnered with one of the largest Healthcare firms in Massachusetts that specializes in providing Healthcare services implementation and support - and they are cu! rrently looking for an Applications Coordinator (preferably with EPIC) with Pharmacy/Clinical background for a long term opportunity at their Boston location.
TITLE: Application Coordinator (EPIC preferred)
LOCATION - Boston MA
DURATION: 5 months contract to PERM
SUMMARY
The Application Specialist/Coordinator works within the Inpatient, Ambulatory, or Departmental Application teams; s/he is part of a team dedicated to configuring, building, testing and activating the assigned application database. Applications include Emergency, Clinical Documentation, Obstetrics, CPOE/eMar, Inpatient Pharmacy, Oncology, HIM, OR, Anesthesia, Radiology and Home Health.
Requirements/Responsibilities
•
3-5 years related experience, including experience with healthcare clinical systems .
•
Experience developing and integrating business processes. Clinical workflow
experience for desig! n of information systems
•
EPIC build for ! successful product implementation; EPIC design to analyze organization's current business practices and translate them into configurations and workflows
•
Support departmental/functional team with application and information system knowledge
•
Analyze business processes to ensure proper system configuration and maintain regular status reports
•
Creates and maintains all required system design and build documents
•
Contributes to preparation of testing scripts and materials and performs unit, system, and integrated testing tasks
•
Post live implementation activities and production support
SKILLS
•
Ability to lead and facilitate large working sessions with all levels of staff.
•
Ability to effectively conduct meetings, both formal and informal including departmental and clinical user meetings.
•
Understanding ! of change management techniques, and the ability to apply them.
•
Epic certification(s) desired.
