Summary: Performs all types of Ultrasound procedures based upon department (General, OB/Gyn, Breast Imaging, Vascular Labs, Cardiac Ultrasound Labs,! Women's Center Antepartum). Qualifications: Specialized post-secondary training equal to two years of college. Registration required by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS), including the RDCS (Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer, under the ARDMS) for cardiac specialties. Required: ARDMS or ARRT with Certificate in Breast Imaging and MA license required.
Ability to complete diagnostic and intervional procedures in a fast pace diagnostic mammography department required. Rotation between Memorial and ACC departments required. CPR certification required. Excellent patient care, communication and team building skills required.
