Shift: 33HR Evenings (3 evenings/week 2pm- 10pm and E/O weekend 7:30am- 4pm)

Summary : Under the supervision of the Senior Ultrasonographer, provides direct patient care services and other related functions in support of the department. Performs independently within scope of department policies. Clinically works at the direction of a qualified Radiologist.
Qualifications : Graduate of accredited school of Ultrasonography or Radiological Technology. Associates Degree preferred. Certification preferred. Knowledge consistent with outlines in Physics and Instrumentation, Abdominal OB/Gyn Ultrasound for ARDMS exams. Minimum one-year experience in diagnostic ultrasound under the direction of a qualified physician. Expected ARDMS registered in one category within one-year of hire date. Demonstrated ability to provide quality patient care with minimal supervision in a fast-paced setting, collaborating with peers to produce optimum results. Verbal and written communication skills in order to effectively communicate with patients and families. OR equivalent combination of the above.
