Certified Nurse Midwife Per Diem

Location: Worcester, Massachusetts

Description: Saint Vincent Hospital is employing Certified Nurse Midwife Per Diem right now, this position will be delegated in Massachusetts. Further informations about this position opportunity please give attention to these descriptions.

POSITION PURPOSE:

Provides professional care for patients with obstetric and gynecologic needs. Triages OB/GYN patients presenting at the Hospital. Serves as surgical 1st assist for C-Sections an d GYN surgeries. Admits patients, provides orders as well as ongoing assessments during the Hospital stay. Provides full scope midwifery care for patients enrolled at the Center for Women’s Health. Remains active in the educational program, participating in didactic sessions and lectures as well as providing for the supervision of medical, midlevel and EMS students as well as DO medical interns.

Qualifications:

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

Licensure in Commonwealth of Massachusetts as a Certified Nurse Midwife.

Graduate of an ACNM approved School of Nurse-Midwifery and Certification through ACNM

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

2 years of full scope practice experience.

Antepartum and intrapartum experience.

First assist skill set and ultrasound through formal course or previous experience.

PROFESSIONAL LICENSURE AND CERTIFICATION REQUIRED:

BLS

Neonatal Resuscitation

Mass CNM License

Other requirements under the purview of Medical Staff Services
