Job Description


A great new opportunity has arisen to join our European Legal team working on a wide and diverse client base across Continental Europe, but focused mainly in Italy and Greece. This role will give exposure to a wide range of challenging projects and contracts. We are seeking an aspiring legal counsel who is passionate about building relationships with key stakeholders across an organization who is adept at providing commercial, results-oriented legal advice.

As a key business partner, you will be actively involved in bid preparation, bid negotiation, project support, potential claims and implementation of the Group’s internal policies

Job Duties

  • Drafting, reviewing and negotiating a broad range of agreements, contracts and other legal documentation (including client contracts, bid agreements, memoranda of understanding, non-disclosure agreements and sub-consultancy agreements);
  • Drafting Board of Directors and Shareholder Meetings decisions and resolutions. Powers of Attorney. Legalization of corporate documents before the Notary public and Commercial Register;
  • Claims management, internal reporting and coordination with external counsel.
  • Ensuring the application of the Group's internal policies (Ethics & Compliance, ED&I, ESG and Data Protection).

Qualifications
  • Degree in Law;
  • Fluent English & Italian is essential. Spanish will be positively valued;
  • Proficient MS Office Programs user; must have excellent Word knowledge;
  • Contract review and negotiation, preferably within the construction or infrastructure sector;
  • The role requires excellent communication and organizational skills, a pro-active approach and you should feel confident in this aspect, your role will involve daily interaction with senior level executives, as well as colleagues at all-levels across the Group;
  • You must be able to demonstrate the ability to handle a varied and busy workload and be prepared to explore and adopt innovative working methods in the pursuit of continuous improvement;
  • Minimum 7-year experience in the Legal Department of a Multinational Company (preferably within the construction, infrastructure, or Engineering sector) or a Law Firm.
