Position Overview

Metaloop is looking for an Enterprise Key Account Manager who is passionate about the metal recycling industry and has a deep understanding of the market. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales and the metal sector and is eager to win new customers for Metaloop and grow existing industrial customers within Europe. In this role, the Enterprise Key Account Manager develops and executes recycling concepts and collaborates with targeted industrial accounts throughout the entire customer journey. You will ultimately be responsible for your success within the territory, winning new industrial accounts and ensuring incremental growth in monthly scrap metal volumes, whilst providing the best sales experience possible for our customers.

Tasks

Responsibilities

  • Build and nurture relationships with key decision-makers within industrial accounts.
  • Develop and execute recycling concepts and customer-specific recycling solutions.
  • Drive revenue growth by identifying and working targeted accounts throughout the entire customer journey.
  • Exceed monthly sales targets by driving new opportunities and buying new scrap metal material in existing accounts.
  • Generate short-term results whilst maintaining a long-term perspective to improve overall revenue generation.
  • Demonstrate value to key stakeholders within the accounts during complex sales cycles.
  • Track all opportunity and customer details including use case, purchase time frames, next steps, and forecasting in Salesforce.
  • Partner with customer success operations to ensure high satisfaction within your accounts.
Requirements

Required Experience & Skills

  • 8+ years of scrap metal trading experience; industrial accounts focused preferred.
  • Experience selling to VP and C-level executives.
  • Track record of success selling into mid-market and enterprise companies.
  • Consistently deliver on 7+ figure deals.
  • Self-starter, with strong attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience managing and closing complex sales cycles using solution-selling techniques.
  • Strong interpersonal and presentation skills.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills in German and English.
  • Willingness to travel
