This position will interact with US and India-based teams
Electrum is seeking a remote Technical Project Manager to join a rapidly growing climate tech startup. As a Technical Project Manager, reporting to Sr Product Manager and working closely with the Technical Lead, you will work primarily with our scrum team that supports consumer-facing products, collaborating across internal teams, to build and maintain best-in-class user experiences for cleantech-focused home improvement transactions.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Leading coordination and collaboration efforts between US and India-based teams; the successful candidate must work hours that overlap with both IST and ESTDefining and measure project milestones, effectively prioritizing deliverables, and managing cross-project, cross-team dependencies to meet team-wide delivery goalsCultivate and maintain deep understanding of business and technical requirements across multiple projects to facilitate collaboration across internal teams within the organization and ensure the success of Electrum’s technical programs. Developing, defining, and driving project management best practices across a growing product development team lead/Participate in Project Check-ins and Scrum ceremoniesAdministering, tailoring, and implementing project management tools, including the Atlassian software suite, to optimize team operation.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 3+ years of work experience within agile software development teams; direct experience in Software Project Management is a plus -
- Excellent communication, presentation, organizational, and customer service skillsAbility to communicate and collaborate cross-functionally across a diverse set of perspectives and areas of expertise
- Strong quantitative, analytical, and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously in a small, fast-paced environment
- Strong computer skills, including in-depth experience leveraging project management software; familiarity with Atlassian JIRA and Confluence or similar project management tools.
- Passion for consumer technology and interest in developing a deep understanding of complex products and technologies
- General knowledge of business, technology, economics, and/or finance
- Ability to understand group dynamics and psychology
- PMP Certification is a plus
