Dispatcher

 

Our Dispatcher positions are all remote work from home opportunities for the technology savvy individual that do not need to be completely micromanaged. We will be providing full online training to all candidates. Candidates must complete all online training before starting work with us. Training is unpaid and all candidates are 1099 contractors that are paid based on performance.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Managing drivers and booking loads using the national load boards - DAT & Truckstop.
• Coordinate with brokers to ensure on-time delivery by tracking trucks for pick-up, estimating times of arrival and delivery, and recovering loads when necessary.
• Cultivate strong relationships with drivers and encourage drivers to ensure optimum performance.
• Proactively make decisions to support driver utilization and solve problems related to pick-up/delivery or breakdown issues.
• Supervise the plans and activities for each driver including but not limited to dispatching loads, time off requests, pre-trip/post-trip, and equipment maintenance issues.

Required Skills and Experience

• Must have a minimum of 3 years of customer service and/or sales experience.
• Must have strong negotiation skills.
• Must be willing to represent the company professionally at all times.
• Genuinely want to do right by our company and clients at all times.
• Proficient in computers and other office equipment
• Must have excellent time management skills.
• Must have the desire to learn the terminology of the trucking industry.
• Must follow all policies and procedures required by the company.

We currently employ a team of remote dispatchers that work from home to service our owner operators that are leased under our authority. This is a new service that we are fully providing throughout the United States without the risk of directly owning assets. We assist and manage our owner operator assets without carrying all of the liability.

Pay: $500.00 - $3,000.00 per week
