SUBSTITUTE FOOD SERVICE WORKER
Schedule: On-call
SALARY: $17.29/Hour
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Will assist the District’s efforts in bringing nutrition education activities into the
- Cleans serving counters, tables, chairs, food containers, and other equipment.
- Operates dishwasher and washes pots, pans, trays, plates, utensils, and other
- Washes and scours food service equipment, appliances and serving areas.
- Assists in setting up food preparation lines.
- Heats, sets up, sells, and serves food to students and staff.
- Stores kitchen cooking utensils and other equipment.
- Assists in the preparation of food, involving such activities as preparing sandwiches,
- Acts as cashier, counts cash receipts, and prepares simple records.
- Performs other related duties as required.
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:
✓ Must score 70% or better on the Food Service Worker Examination.
