Perinatal Care Technician

BCLS certification required.
Experience is highly preferred.
Medical Terminology experience is required.
Summary:! Participates in the delivery of care to the newborn, adolescent and/or adult obstetric patient under the direction of the Registered Nurse.
Responsibilities: Performs a variety of functions necessary for the operation of the unit, including scrubbing for C-sections, restocking and maintenance of supplies.
High school graduate preferred, successful completion of a clinical assistant program. Previous medical secretary experience desirable. Must hold CNA through Massachusetts or RMA. Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification required.
