Description: Harvard Vanguard Medical Associates is at present looking to employ Registered Nurse - Per Diem Burlington OB/GYN right now, this vacancy will be placed in Massachusetts. The Registered Nurse (RN) performs a variety of moderately complex tasks which may include: Assisting in the provi! sion of direct patient care; triaging telephone calls and providing clinical advice appropriately; coordinating the follow-up care of patients; providing practice management support and patient education. Acts as a clinical resource to support staff. Requires specialty specific and/or ambulatory care experience in Obstetrics and Gynecology, strong telephone triaging skills and proficiency with some of the following: starting IV's , mixing and administering IV med., IM injections, and fetal monitoring.
Graduation from a state approved nursing program (bachelors preferred), and current state license required. 1 - 3 year's experience and current BCLS certification also required.
UROGYN and High Risk OB/GYN experience preferred. Experience and comfort with EMR is essential. Hours are flexible depending upon the clinical needs of the practice, but would be a weekday 8:30-5 p.m. position.
