Summary
Responsible for the setup and operation of Hydromat machines to ensure production pf quality parts.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Read and understand part specific blue prints and dimensions
Recognized quality principles as applied to products
Ability to use micrometers, calipers and basic gages
Ability to follow instructions and procedures
Must be flexible and willing to assist in other areas when needed
Check parts with optical inspection equipment or equivalent measurement
Understands procedures and work instructions
Uses appropriate statistical tools
Understands proper operation of machine
Can change Hydromat Machine tooling
Perform comprehensive machine preventive maintenance routines

Education and/or Experience
Equivalent of a high school education or related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Training
Basic Orientation, Quality Systems Overview, Standard Operating Procedures and job specifics as defined by the quality system.
Language Skills
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization. Interaction with plant and management personnel required. Must possess the ability to understand verbal and written instructions. Should have the ability to effectively communicate with management and coworkers in a friendly, professional and respectful manner.
Mathematical Skills
Should possess basic math skills, including ability to use gages, including micrometers, calipers and various sized plug gages.

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
