General Description:
Wafer Processing Technician needed to support device fabrication in a cleanroom laboratory under general supervision. This position includes hands-on, single wafer processing as well as operation of production-oriented, automated semiconductor processing equipment. 1st shift position preferred: M-F, 5:00 am to 1:30 pm.

Essential Duties:
Work in a Class 10 (ISO-4) cleanroom environment under general supervision, perform tasks including but not limited to:
Execute CDSEM, ellipsometry, profilometry, and optical inspections per specifications
Collect product SPC data and disposition material based on spec limits pass/fail criteria and out-of-control action plans
Collaborate with project tactical WIP manager to understand evolving project priorities and prioritize daily tasks to deliver cycle-time commitments
Routinely review Manufacturing Execution System (MES) metrology and logistics queues to determine next set of activities
Prepare Statements-of-Work and prep material for external vendor processing
Coordinate logistical transfers of materials and instructions to CMP, post-processing, and electrical test modules

Strong communication skills

Required Education:
High School Diploma required. Associates or Bachelor Degree in a physical science or engineering field a plus. Microfabrication experience also is a plus.

Physical Requirements:
Must be able to work within a cleanroom environment wearing typical personal protective equipment.
Walking and/or standing may be required for 70-80% of the day.
Must be organized and able to manage multiple tasks running in parallel.

Compensation:
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $36.00 per hour + bonus + benefits.

Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
